Well, it wasn't such a great day today... Honey had difficulty sleeping last night and spent most of the day in bed today trying to catch up on much needed rest. The fatigue has set in as well as the nausea. Honey was a very good patient today and she called her nurse to let her know how she was feeling. After a few encouraging words she told her to skip the "real" food and stick with an old classic - Campbell's chicken noodle soup. Sure enough she was able to keep it down.
It is in times like this that Honey Bear needs to hear encouraging words. She needs to know that people are praying, and that people are quietly reading this daily to check and see how she is doing. Anyone with this web address is close enough to our family to post a comment for Honey - please don't be shy. We love your comments, and Honey needs to hear them. Any words of encouragement are appreciated! (P.S. you must create a user name and password - just follow the instructions)

Hi Honey Bear. Sorry to here it was not a good night last night nor none the less a good day either. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayer every single day and that you will be able to draw strength from our continuous prayers for you. We believe that you have the strength, desire, fight and above all will to overcome your fight to conquer this disease. Hang in there and we will say prayer for you at Bunco on Tuesday. I have a feeling you will not be able to go with me to Bunco but rest assured you will be with us anyway. Be strong and remember Dan says NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP. YOU WILL CONQUER!
Hi Honey Bear I love you 62 billion and 2 (wink! wink!). You are such an inspiration to me that I cannot begin to explain it. Thanks for flipping over those dead road kills for me with a stick while you were gagging (totally disgusting I know, but I was like 5 years old) - if you hadn't I probably would not be doing what I am today. Thank you for taking me to get ice cream or candy at 11pm before I could drive because I had a wicked craving. Thank you for letting me collect all those pets (I know, I still have a problem). I guess what I am trying to say is thank you for all the sacrifices you have made for me over the years. I owe you and now is the perfect time to cash in! Anything at all, you just ask!
Peg,
I don't have the most stable Internet connection here, but, when i can, i check to see how you are doing first thing. Sorry to hear that you had a rough day, but i know that you are much tougher than what will come your way. I don't tell all my friends Aunt Peggy stories for nothing. Today was my day to teach English in one of the poorest communities in Guadalajara. You will be happy to know that my students have officialy added "Tia Peggy" to the top of their prayer wall. Weekdays at noon, 200 elementary school students have you on their mind and are sending good thoughts to Dios. They are perfect examples of keeping positive when things definitely are not going their way. They may be little, but their prayers are strong. Always thinking about you...even from far away.

Hey Peggy,
Love you so much. What a fighter you are. When it gets tough, do as the bears do...go to sleep!!! I miss you and wish I was there. Your faith is amazing.

Chris
