Round 2 of chemo complete! Honey Bear tolerated the chemo like a champ! I was wrong about today's treatment, she actually received IV (in the IV) and IP (in the belly) chemo today. However, it is supposed to be easier on her than last week (I guess it's a different cocktail). The doctor told Honey she does not have to stay in bed and rest, but if she wants to she can. Which was a bit of a relief for Mom. I think she has been afraid of doing too much. During treatments Honey has had the opportunity to meet other women going through situations much similar to hers, survivors. They have been very inspirational. They also taught Honey how to take a real shower without interfering with her tube and IV lines (ziplock press n seal - who knew?!) She is really excited about that tidbit. Overall a good bill of health and an order to keep doing what she is doing!

Peggy,

I guess the Glad press 'n seal will be flying off the selves!! Who knew??

I can't begin to tell you how much I love you and thank God for bringing my family to New Town. Just knowing you and your whole clan is reward in itself. You have been such an inspiration to me and I really miss working my playgroup days at church without you there. Luckily, we haven't had to iron Erin's hair for candle wax (you should be smiling now because I am). By the way, just another thank you to you and Katie for that... God has truly wrapped you in His loving arms and is keeping you protected. How awesome is that!!! I pray for your continued strength and you WILL beat this! I love you!
